MAYALICYA's adventure began on an inspiring trip to Mexico, where I had the privilege of discovering Huichol Art, an extraordinary artistic tradition rooted in the indigenous culture of the Huichol people. This trip was the starting point of our beautiful story. At MAYALICYA, we were deeply touched by the depth and richness of Huichol Art, which is manifested through vibrant and colorful works of art but also jewelry woven with colored beads, usually with plastic beads. We felt the power of the stories woven into each bead and pattern, and we were amazed by the beauty of these creations. It is with this inspiration that we decided to bring MAYALICYA to life, creating jewelry and creations in natural stones inspired by Huichol art and lithotherapy. Our goal is clear: To transcribe the magic of Huichol Art in unique and authentic pieces, while using the exceptional properties of natural stones.
